Recently finished Bossypants, by Tina Fey. Absolutely infatuated with Tina Fey, her message, her life story, her sass and sarcasm, her approach to humor and her approach to life. She is currently at the top of my list of inspiring people, which I do not update often enough routinely forget who else is on there. Anyway, I’m heavily debating teaching the word “blorft” to my students. Tina’s definition: “blorft: completely overwhelmed but proceeding as if everything is fine and reacting to the stress with the torpor of a possum.” An abuse of power? Perhaps. Reading the word “blorft” in a news article written by one my students that aspires to become a journalist? SO WORTH IT.
